The HSN Simulation Laboratory supports high quality, interdisciplinary and innovative research that strives to advance clinical competencies and safety through the integration of simulation in research. Past research and scholarly activity has addressed the following themes:

• Clinical skill development and assessment
• Crisis resource management training
• Supporting inter-professional education collaborations
• Supporting interdisciplinary teams within rural Northern Ontario hospitals
• Support for compassionate and effective end of life discussions
