The Health Sciences North (HSN) Simulation Lab was established in 2012, our vision is to be globally recognized for patient centred innovation. We strive to improve the health of Northern Ontario residents, by working with our partners to advance quality care, education, research and health promotion. At the Simulation Laboratory we use inter-professional medical simulation, allowing learners to apply critical thinking, technical and interpersonal skills in a safe and supportive learning environment, with the ultimate goal of improving patient safety and promoting a culture of reflective interdisciplinary practice.
